Basque Design Today Exhibition

Until the next day May 5th in AlhóndigaBilbao, Triennale Design Museum presents The New Italian Design 2.0 exhibition, an overview on contemporary Italian design that explains and describes the transition of the movement and its links with economic, political, technology changes that occurred over the century. The exhibition is completed with Basque Design Today, a selection of the most significant products of those created in the Basque Country over the last few years, in the different fields of design.
Basque Design Today is at the cutting edge of the international design scenario. Basque creative talent provides highly innovative solutions and alternatives, serving industry by enhancing the quality of the everyday objects around us. Within this framework, the curators of the exhibition have selected the Sensor Evolution compact ironing center, the first ironing system in obtaining the A energy rating. Designed by ADN DESIGN for Solac, this innovative product has been awarded with a Special Mention at the Design and Innovation Grand Prix of the III Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño 2012.
