Is now available for download the catalog of the III Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño. The cross-cutting themes of this edition were Innovation, Design for all and Design for Sustainable Development. As previously announced, ADN DESIGN has received a Special Mention at the Grand Prix "Design and Innovation" by Sensor Evolution, a compact ironing station for Solac.
The category winner was Aguara, an electric vehicle made by Cesar Vega of Áreagrafito for PTI, Itaipú Technological Park and Itaipú Binacional, Asunción, Paraguay. Aguara is the first electric vehicle made in Paraguay and arises from the need to use the high production of clean electricity generated by the Itaipú Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric facility.
