Ambiente 2010

As in previous editions, ADN DESIGN has been present in Ambiente 2010, one of the largest international fairs of consumer goods.
During the hard winter in Germany, a wide range of products for the table, the kitchen, and the home created a pleasant springtime atmosphere in the exhibition rooms.
Indeed, this year we have found a completely restructured fair. The disappearance of permanent locations of important companies, such as WMF, Rosenthal, or Alessi, has brought a rush of fresh air to the contest. These exhibitors took the chance to redesign their presentation and to introduce new and exciting concepts. Specially, the sectors of kitchen and kitchen ware were able to enjoy more space and a new and more appropriate exhibiting structure.
Throughout the previous editions of Ambiente, design has been increasing its presence and relevance, now becoming a central vector of the contest. In addition to the traditional meetings with the selection “Design Plus” or with the promotional area “Talents”, this year has included other thought-provoking initiatives, such as the “Kitchen Innovation of the Year” award or the space “At Hand”, presenting ideas from students from two important design schools.
Despite the still perceivable effects of the global economy crisis, the fair has recovered its optimism and the sector radiates a new creative energy. You can explore the trends we have identified in our Ambiente 2010 Report (only in spanish).
