World Industrial Design Day 2009

Promoted by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design Icsid, World Industrial Design Day is a global initiative aimed at highlighting the important role that design plays in improving people’s lives.
Professional designers and design enthusiasts from around the world will come together on 29 June at events organised around this year’s proposed theme – “Industrial Design: the product of human creativity”.
As it did last year, ADN DESIGN will be bringing together all its colleagues and friends at a celebration held at 7:39 p.m. on Monday, 29 June at the Café Iruña sidewalk. There they will have the chance to join in a relaxed discussion on design and creativity.

diForum 2009

The diForum International Design and Innovation Forum 2009 was held to great organisational success and public acclaim last 8 June in Madrid.
Organised by the Corporation for the Development of Design and Innovation ddi and the Association for Management Progress apd, diForum 2009 functioned as a meeting point for reflection, exchange and the generation of new ideas aimed at a more innovative, competitive and sustainable welfare society.
Together with other well-known figures from the world of design, business management and innovation, Carlos San José, President of the Red Española de Asociaciones de Diseño READ (Spanish Network of Design Associations), acted as a member of the Scientific Committee advising the diForum 2009.
